• Erie event under way
  ERIE, Pa. - Thursday marked a blustery beginning to the FLW American Fishing Series event on Lake Erie, with tournament boats restricted to the waters of Presque Isle Bay on day one due to wind and a small-craft advisory for the main lake. However, expectations are still high for many four-bass limits to be weighed this afternoon.

• FLW College Fishing to visit Lake Chickamauga
  HIXSON, Tenn. - National Guard FLW College Fishing is headed to Lake Chickamauga Sept. 18 for the third of four stops in the Southeast Division series. Forty collegiate teams will be competing for a top award of $10,000 to be split evenly between the school and bass fishing club.

• FLW Series to visit Lake Roosevelt
  PAYSON, Ariz. - The FLW Series will visit Lake Roosevelt in Payson, Ariz., Sept. 22-25 for the final stop of the National Guard Western Division circuit. Hosted by the Town of Payson, the tournament will feature as many as 300 top bass anglers casting for top awards up to $50,000 in the Pro Division and a Ranger 177TR with a 90 horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard in the Co-angler Division.

• FLW Walleye Tour to visit Leech Lake for year-end championship
  WALKER, Minn. - The FLW Walleye Tour will visit Leech Lake in Walker, Minn., Sept. 22-25 for the 2010 championship event. Hosted by the Northern Lights Casino, the top-20 anglers from each of the Eastern and Western Divisions will be competing for a first-place prize worth as much as $48,000 in the Pro Division and $14,000 in the Co-angler Division.

• Roosevelt challenges Boone and Crockett record holders
  MISSOULA, Mont. - The Boone and Crockett Club is now receiving four times more trophy entries than 30 years ago, and Theodore Roosevelt's great, great grandson says hunters who reach this apex are notable beneficiaries of historic conservation successes.

• Destination: Lake St. Clair/Windsor, Ontario
  Like a Hobbit among giants, St. Clair's 460-square miles appear minute in the Great Lakes region. Nevertheless, this dynamic fishery consistently cranks out the big catches - both in terms of numbers and individual fish. There's no denying the greater overall potential found in nearby Lakes Erie and Huron, but the spunky St. Clair more than holds its own.

  OKEECHOBEE, Fla. - The Bass Fishing League is headed to Lake Okeechobee Sept. 11-12 for the Gator Division's two-day Super Tournament. As many as 400 boaters and co-anglers will compete for top awards of up to $11,000 and $4,500, respectively.

• Choo Choo Division anglers to fish Lake Guntersville
  SCOTTSBORO, Ala. - The Bass Fishing League is headed to Lake Guntersville Sept. 11-12 for the Choo Choo Division's two-day Super Tournament. As many as 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $11,000 and $4,500, respectively.

• Potomac River next up for Shenandoah Division
  WOODBRIDGE, Va. - The Bass Fishing League is headed to the Potomac River Sept. 11-12 for the Shenandoah Division's two-day Super Tournament. As many as 400 boaters and co-anglers will compete for top awards of up to $11,000 and $4,500, respectively.

• LBL Division headed to Kentucky-Barkley lakes
  GILBERTSVILLE, Ky. - The Bass Fishing League is headed to Kentucky and Barkley lakes Sept. 11-12 for the LBL Division's two-day Super Tournament. As many as 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $11,000 and $4,500, respectively.

• Chesapeake Bay site of Northeast Division tourney
  ELKTON, Md. - The Bass Fishing League is headed to Chesapeake Bay Sept. 11-12 for the Northeast Division's two-day Super Tournament. As many as 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $11,000 and $4,500, respectively.

• BFL South Carolina Division to host event on Lake Wylie
  LAKE WYLIE, S.C. - The Bass Fishing League is headed to Lake Wylie Sept. 11-12 for the South Carolina Division's two-day Super Tournament. As many as 400 boaters and co-anglers will compete for top awards of up to $11,000 and $4,500, respectively.

• FLW Outdoors honors soldiers through series of competitive fishing events
  With the assistance of FLW Outdoors, the National Guard Outdoors Program has developed a way to give back to National Guard soldiers and their families through a unique series of competitive angling opportunities known as National Guard Soldier Appreciation Tournaments.
