Whose doing what
Dad has been busy with teaching, as Richard has also stated, though he didn’t mention that he’s been tutoring me in Calculus and helping with any of my Petroleum Engineering courses and questions. Richard has also been a well of knowledge for me when it comes to school. I am convinced that he could do a better job than most of the teachers we have at U.L.L. in our Engineering Department (including the Head of the Department itself). School has been an ongoing thing for me for the past few years and a few more to come. I want to graduate with my masters and also with honors. So hopefully if I keep my nose in the books, this will be something to look forward to in the upcoming years. I am also working right now, I am contracted to Chevron as an Operations Assistant and am staying very busy. I do work for both the Central and Western GoM Ops. Eng.’s and they keep me on my toes, while also working around my school schedule. Who could ask for more?Â
I recently tied the knot with the greatest guy in the world. It was one of the best moments in my life. I had my big brother there to walk me down the isle. I had Wanda there to help me plan the whole thing and tell who-what to do-when. She rocked it. Mom was escorted down the isle by my other big brother and Jori, Trisha and Yvonne walked in my wedding. And who couldn’t forget the 4 cutest accents to the event as a whole, all of my nieces were flower girls and they did a fantastic job. They also did a great rendition of Frankenstein later at the reception when 3 of them took their hair down and had a vertical fro for the rest of the evening. All in all, it was a great moment in time, which my big brother has made into a movie/slide show to the wonderful tune “Who Let The Dog’s Out” by the Baha Men.Â
Mom is doing great, she is still working for Woodgroup and busy as ever. She’s kicking butt and taking names. Her birthday is coming up in April. . don’t forget. As well, she just got back from a trip to Virginia with Staff and Trish. he saw all the sights and was able to visit Williamsburg and many other places. She was in heaven. Mom has a weakness for anything concerning history and this was a memory she will cherish.  Â
Jori is doing well. I just went to a P.R. Event with her last weekend at Acadian Village. Her company was one of the larger sponsor’s for the fundraiser involving the raising of money and awareness for children with brain tumors.  It was a great evening with a wonderful turnout for the kids.
Stafford is recently engaged, as of January 1st this year. He proposed to Trisha for New Years in Virginia with her whole family there to witness and enjoy the event, including Mom.Â
Angelique made Crusader of the Month at her school. Danielle punched a boy in the face over a ball (Danielle is such a bad ass). Isabelle has recently chopped a large portion of her hair off and is now stuck with the Dorothy Hammil hair cut. Stephen’s doing really well, taking after his Dad more and more everyday. Sydnie brought home two awards from school last week. Go Syd!
Oh and I can’t forget my cuuuuzzzziiin. Sandy graduated from U.L.L with honors and is living it up in Northern Spain, right outside of Barcelona. She is teaching and teaching and teaching and translating for an Architectural Journal. She’s fixing to move into a fantastic new apartment and . . I could brag for days. . so I will stop myself now.
So, there it is. The family update for the Fall 2007 and Spring of 2008. Hope you enjoyed and if I messed anything up, or left anything out, I am very sorry and feel free to correct me. Â
